2.5 Jumper Settings for Clearing CMOS Data
Jumper JP3
Clear CMOS Data
If, for some reason, the CMOS data
becomes corrupted or you forgot the
supervisor/user/keyboard password,
the system can be reconfigured with
the default values stored in the ROM
BIOS. To load the default values,
power off your system and
unplug
the power cord
. Set JP3 pins 2 and
3 to On. Wait for a few seconds and
set JP3 back to its default setting,
pins 1 and 2 On. You may now plug
the power cord and power-on your
system.
Jumper JP2s settings are shown below.
