2.7 AGP Pro Slot
The system board is equipped with a
universal AGP Pro slot that supports
2x/4x AGP or AGP Pro add-in card.
AGP Pro is an extension to the
existing AGP slot. It delivers
additional electrical power on both
ends of the slot to meet the needs
of advanced workstation graphics
add-in cards.
If you are using 2x/4x AGP add-in
card, make sure you install the card
between the 20-pin and 28-pin bays
of the slot. Installing it incorrectly may damage the card or the
system board. AGP Pro add-in cards, on the other hand, will fit into
the AGP Pro slot in only one orientation thus preventing you from
installing the add-in card incorrectly. Align the add-in card above the
slot and push it down firmly with even pressure on both sides of
the top, until it is completely seated.
The AGP 4x LED will light only when the AGP Pro slot is installed
with a 4x add-in card.
