586ITOX System Board Users Manual

IrDA Connector

The system board is equipped with an IrDA connector for wire-

less connectivity between your computer and peripheral devices.

Connect your IrDA cable to connector J16 on the system board.

Refer to UART2 Mode Select (Integrated Peripherals setup) in

Chapter 2 of this manual for more information.

You must have the proper drivers installed in your operating system

to use this connector. Refer to your operating systems manual or

documentation.
