SOFTWARE USER MANUAL

6. Software and driver installation

6.1. Installation of the USB-to-serial adapter driver

On the flash drive you will find a folder named \Extras\Driver\UC232A. Open it and run
UC232A_Windows_Setup.exe and follow the installation instructions. Once the installation is finished
proceed to the next step.

6.2. Installation of DSCalibrator software

The self-extract installer DSCalibrator_Installer.exe contains the DSCalibrator software and is intended to
be installed on the PC which will be used for adjustment and calibration of DEWESoft instruments.

●

Start up your PC and login with an administrator account.

●

Run the self-extract installer “DSCalibrator_Installer.exe” to install the software to C:\DSCalibrator.

●

After the installation is finished carefully follow the next chapter about DSCalibrator software
configuration.

Hint
The software versions of DSCalibrator from version 5.0 and onward do not require an installed
Microsoft Excel anymore!
