Original Cover Open/Close Detection Mechanism

• There is a magnet provided in the Original Cover, allowing the printer to detect the posi-

tion of the cover whether the cover is raised or lowered.

• This magnet attracts the Original Cover Set Sensor provided on the printer side, thus

activating the sensor. The printer will then detect the position of the Original Cover.
