CHAPTER 5
USE AND STARTING
5.1 Electrical power supply connection
1. Connect the pump’s clamps to a battery
capable of delivering the current and voltage
required for the operation of the pump.
2. The power of the battery to be used depends
on tis maximum delivery power in Amperes
(Ah). its level of charge. And the operation
time of the pump that must be guaranteed. We
recommend using fully-charged batteries with
more than 40 Ah power.
3. If a motor vehicle battery is used to power the
pump. We recommend first removing it from
the vehicle and standing it on a stable surface
in a comfortable position.
4. The pump can be connected to a battery
mounted in a motor vehicle only if the vehicle
is parked outdoors and only if the pump’s
electrical cables and connecting piping are
long enough to provide the pump with solid
support.
5. The use of extension cords for the electric
cables connected to the clamps is prohibited.
If the length of the cables supplies with the
machine is not sufficient to power the pump.
The clamps must be substituted with jack
plugs of adequate section by a Specialized
electrician.
6. The pump can be connected to a battery-
charger only of adequate power equipped
with terminals never make connections to
clamps coming from the battery charger and
connect the pump’s clamps directly to the
battery charger’s terminals in order to prevent
the generation of sparks that might cause fires.
7. Make sure that the voltage of the pump
(indicated on the identification plate)
corresponds to the voltage of the battery.
8. Make sure to always respect polarity: connect
the black clamps to the -pole and the red
clamps to the +pole.
9. Be extremely careful (when connecting the
pump to the battery) to avoid making contact
between opposite poles and creating sparks
(which can cause fire). We recommend
connecting the negative pole first and then the
positive pole.
10. Position the pump securely and make sure
that the lengths of both the power supply
cables and the piping are sufficient to ensure
solid position.
5.2 Starting:
After checking to make sure that all the tubes have
been adequately sealed. That the power supply
cable has been connected to its attachment and
the gun is in the rest position. The pump can be
started.
After inserting the suction tube in the tank and
the gun is the filling hole. Switch on the pump.
Gradually release the gun’s lever and begin the
transfer of the Diesel oil.
WARNINGS
1. It is absolutely prohibited to abandon the
pump while filling in order to prevent the
potential overflow of Diesel oil.
2. Never start the pump before first connecting
the suction and delivery tubes.
3. After closing the gun. Switch off the motor
pumps as quickly as possible.
4. It is absolutely prohibited to use the pump with
your hands wet.barefoot or while standing in
water.
5.
WARNING:
The use of batteries of adequate
capacity that are not sufficiently charged
creates decreased pump speed. Reduced flow.
And insufficient suction that may lead to the
lack of suitable Diesel oil flow.
CHAPTER 6
ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
The motor pump has not separate accessories
and therefore does not require assembly. The
motor must be disassembled only and exclusively
at authorities assistance centers or by qualitied
technicians.
CHAPTER 7
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Maintenance operations can be performed only
after first disconnecting the power supply plug.
The motor pump does not
require any special maintenance inside. And
for this reason must never be disassembled. It
is important to keep the suction and delivery
sections perfectly clean and free from all clogging.
If the product is not properly cared for and
maintained, it can become unsafe and can also
become damaged. This can lead to dangerous
situations.
Before starting the pump, the pump and the suc-
tion hose must be filled with tge medium to be
pumped. The pump is not self-preming in the se-
nse that you can use the empty hose with diesel.
