Next, install the wiper switch adapter plate onto the Selecta-Speed wiper switch. Remove
the switch hex nut and star washer from the switch. Position the switch anti-rotation tab
into the anti-rotation hole located in the adapter plate (Figure 17). Hold the adapter plate to
the wiper switch by threading on the switch hex nut and provided
3/8” AN washer
and
tighten.

For the 1973-74 application, the original fasteners will be used to install the new switch
assembly into the dash (Figure 18). For the 1975-83 application, place the provided acrylic
wiper cover plate over the light box assembly. U
se the provided No. 8 x 5/8” sheet metal
screws to install the new switch assembly into the dash
using a 1/4” socket
(Figure 19).
