Optional Unflued Operation
When installing in an unflued configuration:
• A factory supplied flue cap/diffuser (P/N: WVE-GALV) must be used.
• Flueing of the space is required to dilute the by-products of combustion. Sufficient displacement of
fresh air intake and exhaust by-product must be provided.
• The minimum clearance between the air intake and the exhaust terminal is 1,2 m.
Note:
When
installing in a U-Bend configuration, use caution to separate flue gases from heater intake.
• A minimum positive air displacement for I2H, I2E, I2L, and I2K gas: 2 m
3
/hr per kW is required.
• A minimum positive air displacement for I3P gas: 2.3 m
3
/hr per kW is required.
NOTE:
Gravity or mechanical means may be used to accomplish the air displacement. Local codes
may require that the mechanical exhaust system be interlocked with the electrical supply line to the
heaters, enabling both to function simultaneously.
• The use of combustion air intake is recommended.

WARNING
!
Not for residential use. The use of unflued tube heaters in residential indoor spaces may
result in property damage, serious injury, or death. Use unflued operation in commercial and
industrial installations with proper flueing rates only.
