TORSIONAL ANALYSIS

12.1

OVERVIEW

Every MBE4000 engine must have a torsional analysis done. Torsional vibration calculations
may be performed using mass elastic data. Separate mass elastic diagrams for each engine size as
well as a

fl

ywheel inertia table and a damper/pulley table (both listed by part number) will allow

for all possible engine/

fl

ywheel /damper & pulley combinations.

The forms to request a torsional analysis may be found at the end of this chapter.
