NOTICE:

To prevent damage to the filter
housing, ensure that no foreign
objects get inside it. Do not wipe
clean the filter housing.

5. Replace the O-ring on the cap.

See Figure 46.

6. Install the new

lter into the cap.

Make sure the

lter element is

securely in place.

7. Screw the cap onto the oil

lter

housing. Tighten the cap 25 N·m
(18 lb·ft).

8. Install the oil drain plug, using a

new O-ring. Tighten the plug 65
N·m (48 lb·ft).

9. Add new engine oil through the

oil

ll (see Figure 47).
