Repairs Due to Accidents,
Misuse, Storage Damage,
Negligence or Certain
Modifications
Repairs due to an accident, misuse,
misapplication, storage damage,
negligence or modification exceeding
DDC specifications are not covered
by this warranty.
Engine Removal and
Reinstallation – Agricultural
Machinery and Stand-by Pump
Applications
Labor and material costs for engine
removal and reinstallation, when
necessary to make a warranty
repair, are not covered by this
warranty when the engine is in an
agricultural machinery or stand-by
pump application.
Non-DDC
Supplied/Manufactured
Components
DDC is not responsible for repair
of components and/or assemblies
which are manufactured or supplied
by another manufacturer, such as
non-DDC power take-offs and
intake and exhaust systems. Such
items are covered by the equipment
manufacturer.
Maintenance
DDC is not responsible for the
cost of maintenance or repairs
due to lack of performance of
required maintenance services as
recommended by DDC, or the
failure to use fuel, oil, lubricants and
coolant meeting DDC-recommended
specifications. Performance of the
required maintenance and use of
proper fuel, oil, lubricants and coolant
are the responsibility of the owner.

in this guide for details.
Incidental or Consequential
Damage
DDC is not responsible for incidental
or consequential costs or expenses
which the owner may incur as a
result of a malfunction or failure
covered by this warranty, such as
communication expenses, meals,
lodging, overtime, towing, and any
associated loss of use of the Engine or
equipment (“downtime”), loss of time,
inconvenience, cargo loss or damage,
and other similar costs and expenses.
