Team Functions
Managing Calls in a Team
Team Functions
The system administrator can form a
team with two or more telephones.
He can program team functions for
these telephones by assigning inter-
nal phone numbers to the tele-
phones’ call keys. For each pro-
grammed call key, he can determine
whether you can receive and make
calls or whether you can only call the
other members in the team.
As a member of a team, you can
see on your display which of the
other team members are currently
engaged.
Team members can answer one an-
other’s calls and transfer them; they
can also substitute one another.
For an overview of the team func-
tions and some examples of how
they are used, please refer to the
chapter entitled “Team Functions” in
the Mounting and Commissioning
User Guide.
For information on the display texts,
please refer to the chapter entitled
page 15; for information on the call
keys, refer to the chapter entitled
Managing Calls in a Team
In a team configuration, the opera-
tion of call keys is very similar to the
operation described in the previous
chapters of this User Guide.
This chapter gives a brief explana-
tion of how to operate the tele-
phones in a team configuration and
refers you to other chapters when
appropriate.
