5.   Smell for gas, including near the floor. If 

you smell gas, SToP!  Follow “B”  in the 

safety information, page 27. if you don’t 

smell gas, go to the next step.

6.  Turn main burner wall switch to the oN 

position for ignition. There will be a spark 

at the electrode. The electrode is located by 

the main burner.

7.  replace control access panel or louver once 

there is a flame at the burner.

• if burner will not stay lit after several 

tries, flip wall switch to OFF and call your 

service technician or gas supplier.
