A list of possible causes is provided for each problem and reated operations.

ENGINE

Fuel pump defective or vacuum tube dama-
ged

Carbirettor jets colgged or dirty

Fuel filter on tank oulet joint dirty or obstruc-
ted

Excessivge carbon deposits on cylinder ports
and in combustion chamber

Poor compression> worn compression rings
or cylinder

Silencer clogged by excessive carnob depo-
sits

Air filter colgged or dirty

Choke failure (it remains inserted)

Clutchs slippage

Defective sliding of movable pulleys

Worn driving belt

Rollers worn, presence of oil dirt

Replaced pump or tubing

Remove. wash in solvent and dry with compressed air

Clean the joint filter

Decoke

Check parts and replace if necessary

Replace silencer and check carburation and mixer
timing

Clean

Check mechanical sliding, circuit continuity, power supply,
and electrical connections

Check and if necessary replace the centrifugal weights
and/or clutch housing

Check parts and replace if cenessary. Lubricate the
driven pulley with Montblanc-Molibdenum Grease
(drg. 498345).

Clean the variator; replace rollers if worn
