Regularly check the rails of the bar for wear, if necessary, remove burrs, and use a flat file to clean the rails
at right angles (Fig. 21).

The chain service
Check the chain tension regularly and adjust if necessary according to this manual.
Check the condition of the cutting edges of the chain. If the cut quality is reduced, sharpen the chain or contact
our authorized service centre.
All saw teeth should be the same length (size). Saw teeth of various heights lead to uneven movement of the chain,
which can lead to its breaking!
The minimum length of the saw teeth is 3 mm. When the minimum length of the saw teeth is reached, the saw
chain should no longer be sharpened, it must be replaced with a new one.
The distance between the depth gauge and the cutting edge determines the thickness of the clamp (Fig. 22).
A sharpening angle of 30° should be the same for all saw teeth. Unequal angles lead to uneven movement of the
chain, increase wear and can lead to its breaking!
The front angle of the saw tooth of the saw, equal to 85°, is formed naturally due to the penetration depth
of the round file. If the maintenance of the prescribed file is correct, then the rake angle of the saw teeth is formed
by itself (Fig. 23).
