Chapter 11 Bar-coded Parameter Menu
11.1 Customizing the Scanner with the Bar-coded Parameter Menu
Start setting
Use the scanner to scan the “Start setting” Bar Code symbol.
Note: Setting the “Beeper volume” does not require this step; however, it requires
enabling the Bluetooth
®
interface with the “Start operation” Bar Code symbol.

Bar Code symbols
If the Bluetooth
®
interface is disabled with the “End operation” Bar Code symbol, scan
the “Start operation” barcode symbol to enable the interface.
Scan the necessary parameter setting Bar Code symbols.
↓
End setting
Scan the “End setting” Bar Code symbol.
Three beeps
Scanning the “All defaults” Bar Code symbol from the Bar-coded parameter menu makes all items in the menu revert to the
factory defaults.
Tip
:
“Beeper volume” Bar Code symbol in the Bar-coded parameter menu
The beeper volume can be set even if the above procedure is omitted. No “Start setting” or “End setting” Bar Code symbol is
required to be scanned.
Each time the “Beeper volume” Bar Code symbol is scanned, the beeper volume cycles through High, Medium and Low. The
factory default is High.
“Easy connection setup” Bar Code symbol in the Bar-coded parameter menu
The easy connection setup can be set even if the above procedure is omitted. No “Start setting” or “End setting” Bar Code
symbol is required to be scanned.
