are the minimum and maxi-

mum numbers of digits for bar codes to be read by the BHT, respectively.

They should be a numeral from 3 to 99 and satisfy the following condition:

mini.no.digits

If both of

mini.no.digits

are omitted, then the

default reading range is from the minimum number of digits specified in Sys-

tem Mode up to 99 digits.

If only

max.no.digits

is omitted, the BHT can only read the number of

digits specified by

are the start and stop characters, respectively. Each of

them should be an

. If a question mark (?) is specified, it acts as

a wild card. The start and stop characters are included in the number of digits.
