Attention!
The gas saving mode is not adequate for use if the operator needs energy very quickly.
If several consumers with high power need are connected, turn off the selector switch gas
saving mode in order to eliminate voltage fluctuation.
Turn off the selector switch gas saving mode if the generator is constantly running on rated
power.
Solely protection switches that are made specifically for the generator offer effective protection
against electric shock. Pay attention to equal rated power and performance characteristics
when replacing the protection switches.
Due to the high mechanical strain, only resilient flexible cables with rubber jacket or similar
materials should be used (acc. to IEC 245-4).
6. Inspection prior to operation
1. Connecting the battery
Advice:
After a longer storage it is necessary to charge the battery completely. Otherwise it is only
possible to start the generator with the recoil starter.
Open the battery compartment with the help of a screwdriver and combine the two white plug
connectors. Ensure the correct polarity.
2. Check the oil level of the engine
Attention!
The generator is delivered without oil. Please pay attention to the following advices for the choice of
the oil.
The motor oil has great influence on the lifetime and performance of the engine. Two-stroke oils may
damage the engine and are therefore not recommended.
Use a four-stroke oil that fulfils or exceeds the requirement of the API-classification SL. Always check
the APISERVICE-label on the oil container for the letters SL.
We recommend SAE 10W-30 for daily use for all temperatures, better SAE 10W40.
