Appendix 3 Stopping and Resuming Status of DVD
With the DN-V300, when playing a DVD, when the stop operation is performed or the stop command is
issued for the first time, the DN-V300 changes to the resume mode, and when the stop operation is
performed or the stop command is issued for a second time, the DN-V300 changes to the stop mode.
The response to serial remote commands according to the device’s status is defined as shown below.
The validity of commands depends on the device’s status, so be careful when controlling by serial
remote.
The DN-V300 is designed to issue the “PR StatusChange” message when a change of status occurs,
but the resume and stop modes are not distinguished, and both have the status code “3”.
To switch to the stop mode by serial control when playing a DVD, issue the “STOP” command two times
by PC RC command.
Example: To switch to the stop mode while playing a DVD
