How to lift a drum with the clamp

1. Lift the clamp to just (approx. 5 mm) under the upper rim of
the drum
2. Position the drum lifter centrally in front of the drum

Drum gripper jaws ( 1 ) are just (approx. 5 mm) under
the upper rim of the drum.

5 7] until the drum gripper jaws press under the
upper rim of the drum

4. Unscrew the adjusting screws ( 3 ) evenly as far as possible
(clamp index)
5. Tighten the lock washers ( 4 )
6. Apply both brakes [ } 5 7]
7. Lift the attachment, until the drum lifts [

The drum is lifted (max. 30 cm above the floor). The brakes
may be released and the drum moved to its destination.
