1. General Instructions
National standards and safety regulations must be observed.
2. Fundamental safety instructions
Smoking, open flames and fire are prohibited in the vicinity of the storage system.
The technical regulations
TRGS 5 1 0
(storage of hazardous substances in mobile
containers) must be observed when operating the pressurised gas cylinder cabinet.
Particular attention must be paid to the regulations on the storage of pressurised gas
cylinders with flammable or highly toxic gases.
TRGS 510, Paragraph 10.2: Organisational measures:

active storage is not permitted (decanting / repair)

when storing toxic gases (H330 / R26) in rooms, a gas warning device must be
provided (Occupational exposure limit exceeded)

3. Use and intended purpose
The gas cylinder cabinet is used for storing pressurised gas cylinders outdoors.
4. Technical details
Design
The gas cylinder cabinet incorporates the following features:

The cabinet complies with the European regulation
TRGS 510
for storing pressurised gas outdoors.

Sturdy steel profile frame, screwed together.

The roof and the rear wall are manufactured from galvanized profiled steel.

The lockable wing door and the side walls are manufactured from steel mesh.

The 500 mm protruding roof ensures weather protection.
-
The GS 155-B with feet has a 100 mm space between the base and the floor.

The GS 155-B model with a base ensures that the gas cylinders can be placed
directly inside the cabinet.
-
The GS 155-B model without a base allows the gas cylinders to be stored on the floor.
-
Gas cylinders can be stored individually using the rail and chain system.
-
The gas cylinders can be stored on gas cylinder pallets inside the cabinet.
-
Delivered flat pack for self-assembly.
5. Assembly
Point of use
The liquid gas cylinder should be placed on even ground outside, the cabinet must not be accessible to
unauthorised personnel.
Do not install the cabinet near to holes, drains, drain pipes, channels, access to cellars, passageways, stairs
to buildings/outdoor facilities and emergency service access routes.
When storing flammable or toxic gases, please observe TRGS 510 regulations in the operating instructions.
TRG 280 stipulates that the area around the cabinet should be kept clear for a 1 m radius. Flammable gases
are classified under Ex Zone 2!
The protection area around the cabinet must not obstruct areas accessed by members of the public or
unauthorised personnel.
The cabinet must be sealed off by a wall (minimum of 2 m) on either side of the cabinet to prevent flammable
gases from escaping. The wall should offer at least 30 minutes fire resistance
