Example:
A PLC modifies data in TP70P through an RTU mode.
Step 1:
Select
Modbus Slave RTU Mode
in the
HMI <=> PLC
section in the
New Project
window.
Step 2:
Create a numeric display in the working area. Type a Modbus communication address in the
Device
Number
box.
Step 3:
In the
Basic Configuration
window, click
TP <=> PLC Protocol
, and then set a communication format
for COM3. (In the example, the communication format set is (9600, 7, E, 1).)
Step 4:
Compile the program created, and download the program to TP70P. Connect COM3 on TP70P to an
