OPERATION
Complete all steps of
“LOADING FASTENERS”
before using the tool.
1.
Install the battery pack.
2.
To fire, grip tool firmly to maintain
control, position nose of tool onto
work surface, push tool firmly
against work surface to depress
safety, as shown at (A) Fig. 9, and
then squeeze trigger (B) to fire a
fastener.
ADJUSTING DEPTH OF DRIVE
The depth to which a fastener is driven is controlled by the depth adjustment
knob (A) Fig. 10. The depth of drive is factory adjusted to a nominal setting.
Test fire a fastener and check depth. If a change is desired, rotate the
adjustment knob (A) Fig. 10. Rotate
the knob clockwise, to increase the
depth of drive, rotate the knob
counterclockwise to decrease the
depth of drive. Test fire another
fastener and check depth. Repeat as
necessary to achieve desired results.
The amount of pressure required will
vary depending on the size of the
fastener and the material being
fastened.
CLEARING A JAMMED FASTENER
If you should experience a nail jam, use the following procedure to clear the
jam.
REMOVE THE BATTERY FROM THE TOOL.
1.
Retract nail pusher (A) Fig. 6, and remove any remaining fasteners (B)

2.
Remove as much spring tension as possible by turning the depth
adjustment knob (A) Fig. 10, counterclockwise.
4.
Install battery pack.
5.
Press the tool safety (A) Fig. 9, against a block of scrap wood. Be sure
to keep hands away from driver blade area.
