This option allows you to check your processor and function accordingly, also se-
lect the clock generator spread spectrum function the EMI generated by the system
is greatly reduced.
If your CPU FSB is support to 66Mhz.
The available options for Host Clock / Sprd Spec / PC133 are : [Default] [66MHz%/0.
60%/No] [65MHz/Off/No] [75MHz/Off/No] [78MHz/Off/No] [80MHz/Off/No]
If your CPU FSB is support to 100MHz.
The available options for Host Clock / Sprd Spec / PC133 are : [Default] [100MHz/0.
60%/No] [105MHz/Off/No] [110MHz/Off/No] [114MHz/Off/No] [117MHz/Off/No]
[122MHz/Off/No] [127MHz/Off/No] [129MHz/Off/No].
If you CPU FSB is support to 133MHz.
The available options for Host Clock / Sprd Spec / PC133 are : [Default] [133MHz/0.
45%/Yes] [140MHz/Off/Yes] [144MHz/Off/No] [146MHz/Off/No] [150MHz/Off/Yes]
[157MHz/Off/No] [160MHz/Off/No] [166MHz/Off/No].
CPU Clock Ratio
Use this option to select a multiplier for the system front side bus frequency. The
value of the multiplier must be set to that Multiplier x Front Side Bus Frequency =
CPU Clock speed. For example, if you have a processor that is rated to run at
550MHz and the system is running a front side bus frequency of 100MHz, you should
select a multiplier of 5.5 so that :
5.5 (Multiplier) x 100MHz (Front Side Bus) = 550MHz (CPU Clock)
The available options for CPU Clock Ratio are : [X3] [X3.5] [X4] [X4.5] [X5] [X5.5] [X6]
[X6.5] [X7] [X7.5] [X8].
After you have made your selection in the Frequency Control, press the
<Esc> key to go back to the main program screen.
Load Fail-Safe / Optimized Defaults
Selecting “Load Fail-Safe Defaults” or “Load Optimized Defaults” on the main
program screen and press <Enter> key on this option. You get a confirmation dialog
box with a message display the menu :
