Replace a DIMM
The following table lists the memory capacity and the number of DIMMs installed in the system.

This CRU is not hot-swappable, and requires a system shutdown to replace.
CAUTION: If any components are not fully seated, the system may not boot upon completion of the procedure.
When installing a component into the system, verify it is fully seated before proceeding to the next step.

Complete the following steps to identify a failed DIMM.
Steps
1. Enter the
alert show current
command to display message indicating a DIMM failure. A sample output is shown.
