Applicable only for computers shipped with processor fan.

Lay the computer on the left side and disconnect the processor-fan cable from the system board.

Lift the release-lever on the heat sink.

Press the lever and release it from the securing tabs on both sides of the processor.

Lift the processor fan and heat-sink assembly off the system board.
