Prerequisites

Follow the safety guidelines listed in

Follow the procedure listed in

Before working inside your system

Remove all the drives.

Disconnect all the cables from the rear drive backplane.

Steps

Using Phillips #2 screwdriver, loosen the screws that secure the drive cage to the system.

Pull and hold the screws to lift the drive cage away from the system.
