Next steps

1

Install the SD cards.

NOTE: 

Re-install the SD cards into the same slots based on the labels you had marked on the cards during removal.

Follow the procedure listed in the After working inside your appliance section.

Integrated storage controller card

Your appliance includes a dedicated expansion card slot on the system board for an integrated storage controller card. The integrated 
storage controller card provides the integrated storage subsystem for the internal hard drives in your appliance.

Removing the integrated storage controller card

Prerequisites

1

Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.

2

Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your appliance section.

3

Remove the cooling shroud.

4

Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready.

Steps

1 

Loosen the screws that secure the integrated storage controller cable to the integrated storage controller card connector on the 
system board.

2 

Lift the integrated storage controller cable away from the integrated storage controller.

3 

Lift one end of the card and angle it to disengage the card from the integrated storage controller card holder on the system board.

4 

Lift the card out of the appliance.
