Next Steps
After completing the initial configuration described in this section, you can
connect any of the front-panel switch ports to your production network for in-
band remote management.
If you specified DHCP for the out-of-band management interface IP address,
the interface will acquire its IP address from a DHCP server on the network.
To discover the dynamically-assigned IP address, use the console port
connection to issue the following command:
• For the VLAN 1 routing interface, enter show ip interface .
To access the Dell OpenManage Switch Administrator interface, enter the
out-of-band management interface IP address into the address field of a Web
browser. For remote management access to the CLI, enter the out-of-band
management interface IP address into a Telnet or SSH client. Alternatively,
you can continue to use the console port for local CLI access to the switch.
