Remove the 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch hot swappable HDDs.

Steps

Locate the power cable connecting the CMA to the NPDB. Disconnect it from the NPDB.

Locate the signal cables connected to the PCIe raid or Mini PERC slot, see your specific configuration for the connection type.
Disconnect the signal cable from the slot.
