Short Description of heater fixing steps: (see separate manual)
Center distance between the 2 pads of your Degxel™ heater
Check that all the following elements are present in the package without any sign of abnormalities. The mount-
ing kit is composed of 2 steel brackets, 4x2 wall plugs, 4x2 screws. Make sure the wall plugs of the mounting kit
are compatible with the material of your wall or ceiling.
Use a spirit level to draw precisely 2 crosses separated by a distance « A » (distance between centers). The
accuracy of the layout is essential to obtain an accurate and safe assembly.
Take a fixing plate and position the center of its circle aligned with the cross. Draw 4 locations for the holes
where you insert the wall plugs. Repeat for the other brackets. For wall mounting, the open part of the plate must
be upward.
Drill holes (on the spotted locations)of the depth of the wall plugs. Insert the wall plugs with a hammer.
Place the mounting plates on the wall or the ceiling and then insert the screws into the wall plugs.
Perform a maximum suitable tightening without rotating the wall plug itself.
Before placing the heater on the mounting plates, make sure that the 4 white plastic pads (located at 4
extremities on the back) are screwed at their maximum. Place the heater on mounting plates. When the
heater is mounted to the wall lift it slightly, in order to reach the final locked position. Manually unscrew
the 4 white plastic pads of the heater until they touch the wall firmly. Check that the heater is blocked.
