The light will not come on.

The motion sensor control switch
is set to the OFF position.

Slide the control switch to the AUTO
position.

The rechargeable battery is dead.

Slide the control switch to the OFF
position and allow the battery to
charge with 3 to 7 days of full sun-
shine before testing.

The solar panel is positioned
wrong.
□
Position and angle the solar panel so
that it gets plenty of direct sunlight
for most of the day, if not the entire
day.
□
Daylight turn-off (photocell) is in
effect.
□
Recheck after dark.
□
The motion sensor is aimed in the
wrong direction.
□
Re-aim the motion sensor to cover
the desired area.
□
The surrounding air temperature
is greater than 122° F (50° C) or
less than -4° F (-20° C).
□
The light will operate normally inside
the specified temperature range.
The light comes on during
the day.
□
The light fixture may be installed
in a relatively dark location.
□
Relocate the light fixture to an area
that receives more light.
□
The motion sensor control switch
is set to the TEST position.
□
Slide the control switch to the OFF or
AUTO position.
The light comes on for no
apparent reason.
The motion sensor may be sensing
small animals or automobile traffic.
Decrease the “SENS” setting or reposition
the motion sensor.
The lights flash on and off.
The motion sensor may be sensing
shadows.
Relocate the light fixture to an area away
from shadows.
