FOG
(N.O. by default - adjustable to N.C.
with the “
I
”
Jump)
With the “ARMED” and ready device, by bringing the signal from the
COM
terminal to this input (minimum
500ms) will start a 30 seconds shot, or by removing the “T” Jumper, the duration of the shot will be managed
by the alarm control unit.
If the firing time is higher than the device's ability to generate dry fog, it will automatically stop dispensing
and will start again as soon as possible (if the FOG contact is still active).
With the programmed 30 seconds shot (“T” Jumper closed) the forced pause cycle of 5 minutes will follow,
during this phase any additional firing command will be ignored (to avoid excessive saturation of the room).
It is possible to stop the shot at any time by DISARMING the appliance (ARM).
ATTENTION !!!!!!
NEVER SHOT FOG IN A AIR-CONDITIONED ROOM
The air conditioning process accelerates the reduction of humidity, which "supports" the substance that
creates the fog effect, thus increasing the risk of leaving oily residues on the furniture surfaces.
If air conditioning is necessary, this risk can be avoided by opening windows and doors to ventilate the
room, or by turning off the air conditioner until the fog has been completely evacuated.
In any case the fog must be evacuated from the room within 60 minutes.
OUTPUT: “ARM – HEAT – LEVEL – FAULT – BATTERY”
These "Open Collector" outputs of negative polarity (-12V) are used to communicate the operating status
of the device externally. As well as the ARM-FOG inputs, they are "N.O." with the
"I"
Jumper closed, but
they can be configured in "N.C." by opening the
"I"
Jumper.
It is possible to supply external lights or relays from each output, using as a common the positive output
taken from the "+ S" terminal.
Attention, the outputs are not measurable with a common tester, it is necessary to have a load (for
example: a light bulb or LED + resistance).
OPERATING JUMPERS AND FAULT RESET CONFIGURATION:
“ T “
Close = 30 seconds shot | Open = shot managed by the central alarm
“
I
”
Close = input and output in N.O. mode| Open = input e output in N.C. mode
“ L “
Open for 3 seconds = Liquid Level Reset (Restore to 6.5 minutes of autonomy)
“ L “
Close = active level control | Steadily Open = excluding the Liquid Level count
“ Reset “
(Jumper located in the center of the electronic board) Open for 3 sec. = Fault Reset
