5 Operation
5.1 Commissioning procedure
Caution
Initial commissioning must be performed by a qualified professio­
nal.
Caution
During the heating process, a certain amount of water may es­
cape via the safety valve or unit because of the expansion of the
water. This phenomenon is perfectly normal and must in no cir­
cumstances be prevented.
Once the DHW tank has been connected to the mains, the unit is man­
aged from the boiler control panel. When in use, no direct action is needed
on the DHW tank.
5.2 Frost protection
Warning
Do not switch off the power supply.
Frost protection is guaranteed.
Protection of the tank against corrosion.
5.3 Shutting down the solar control system
Caution
Do not shut down power to the control system or drain the heat-
transporting fluid.
The system is designed in such a way that no special precautions are nec­
essary during long periods of absence in summer.
The solar control system protects the installation from overheating.
