REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF 
THE FRONT WHEEL 

 
Raise the front wheel 
 
Unscrew the nuts 

(A and B) 

holding the 

front wheel and the nut 

(C)

 holding the 

brake cable so that you may slide it out in 
the direction of the arrow 

E

 and release it 

from the wheel (drum brake only).   
 
Remove the axle 

(D)

 and remove the front 

wheel. 
 
To replace, follow the steps in reverse 
order, making sure to reinsert the spacers 
between the hub and fork in the  same 
position they were in before.
