PERIODIC MAINTENANCE OPERATION LIST
FOR RACE USE (BIKES USED FOR FUN CAN EXTEND

Read the instructions carefully
Check the engine oil level

Change engine oil

Check the spark plug and electrode gap / Replace as necessary

Check the carburetor is correctly fastened
*

Empty and clean the carburetor float chamber
**
Check carburation with engine warm
**
Check air filters and filter housing
*
Check the chain, sprockets and chain guide
*
Clean and lubricate the chain
*
Correctly adjust the chain tension
*
Check the exhaust silencer
**
Check exhaust is well fastened
*
**
Check brake pad thickness
*
Check brake drum shoes
*
Check the stroke and efficiency of the brake lever
*
Check the efficiency of the front fork
*
Check the steering play
*
Clean and grease the steering
**
Check and adjust the rear shock absorber
*
**
Check the rear swing arm
*
**
Clean and grease the rear swing arm/frame coupling areas
**
Check the spokes and rims
*
Check the integrity of wheel bearings
*
**
Check the tires and their pressure
*
Check the condition of the electrical wiring
*
Adjust and lubricate the cables
*
Make sure the screws are tight
*

REMEMBER THAT THE DESIGNED PERFORMANCE IS INTEDED TO ENSURE SAFETY IN USE BY
CHILDREN OF THE AGE GROUP & WEIGHT APPROPRIATE TO THE SIZE OF THE MACHINE,
OVERLOADING WILL CAUSE DAMAGE.
PERFORMANCE CAN BE IMPROVED BY FITTING GENUINE PERFORMANCE PARTS, HOWEVER
IF THIS DONE THE CONSEQUENCES ARE ENTIRELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER.
REGULAR SERVICING (DAILY & PERIODICALLY) IS ESSENTIAL TO THE SAFE & RELIABLE USE
OF THIS MOTORCYCLE. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO CARRY THIS OUT, IT IS YOUR
RESPONSABILTY TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN.
