Remove the battery covers (fig 19).

Install the two batteries as shown in the diagram below (fig 20) and connect them

together with the two wires provided. Connect the two lead wires already inside the
Mulch Mate to the threaded positive and negative terminals on the battery in the corner
(fig 20). You now have POWER!!!!
