Warnings and safety measures
Follow the instructions in this manual strictly. We are not responsible for any difficulties,
damages, or fires caused by non-compliance with the instructions in this manual. The hood
is designed exclusively for home use. Note: Special indications with the "(*)" symbol are
accessories that are only optionally provided on some models or are not provided at all and
should be purchased. Any intervention by an unauthorized person on the device makes it fall
out of factory warranty.
Warning! Do not connect the hood on the power supply unless the installation is complete.
• Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, unplug the range hood from the power outlet or disconnect
the main power supply.
• All electrical connections must be made by a certified technician.
• Installation by unauthorized persons may result in low product performance, product damage, and accidents.
• Make sure that the main voltage corresponds to that indicated on the hood type label.
• The power cord must not be pressed or crushed during installation. The power cord should not be placed
near the kitchen, it may cause fire or melt.
• This device may be used by children aged 8 years and over and persons with impaired physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or instructed to use the device
safely and understand the potential risks. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance
should not be carried out by unsupervised children. This device is designed to be used by adults, children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this device. This device is designed to be used by
adults. Children should not be allowed to tease the control system or play with the device.
• The range hood should never be used unless a grease filter is installed correctly!
• The hood should NEVER be used as a support surface unless expressly indicated.
• The room in which the appliance is installed must have adequate ventilation when the range hood is used at
the same time as other gas-fired appliances or other combustible materials. The ventilation system of this
appliance must not be connected to any other existing ventilation system used for any other purpose such as
the evacuation of fumes created by gas-fired appliances or other caustic materials.
• The range hood is designed for use during normal home cooking. If used for other purposes, there is a risk
of damage that is not covered by the warranty.
• Flame cooking under the hood is strictly prohibited. Using of free flame damages the filters and may cause
fire, so it should be avoided at all times. Frying should be carried out under continuous monitoring to avoid
ignition of the overheated oil. The accessible surfaces of the hood can be overheated significantly if used
simultaneously with cooking appliances.
• The hood must be systematically cleaned, both internally and externally (at least one time per month). This
should be done in accordance with the maintenance instructions provided in this leaflet). Failure to follow the
hood cleaning rules and filter replacement and cleaning results in fire hazards.
• Do not use or leave the hood without the lamps fitted correctly as there is a risk of electric shock We do not
take any responsibility for any damage or fire caused to the appliance as a result of non-compliance.
• Do not touch the lamps when they are on for a long time. They can hurt your hand as they burn.
• Start the range hood after placing some utensil on the hob. Otherwise, the high temperature may cause some
parts of the hood to deform.
• Before removing utensils from the hob, switch off the kitchen.
• Do not leave hot oil utensils in the hob. Cookware with hot oil can be ignited.
• Be careful when cooking dishes in the pan, there is a risk of oil and fire if the tablecloths, curtains etc are
splashed.
