23. Install log #6 as shown to
the right. There is a hole on
the bottom of log #6 that
rests over log locating pin
#8. The charred end of the
log points at the charred
end of the first #5 log
installed in step #22. The
placement of these two logs
in relation to each other
should create a look of a
single log that has burned
through the middle. Make
any adjustments to the
angles of the lots to create
that appearance.
HINT:
When placing the log move it and the filler piece around until they
lock in place against each other.
24. Install the other log #6 as
shown to the right. There
is a hole in the bottom of
the log that rests on log
locating pin #9 (see step
18). The chared end of the
log points at the charred
end of the #5 log installed
in step #21.
25. Install the last (2) log locating pins in the holes indicated on the #5 logs.
