Soft Balance Control
This control allows the ‘inside’ & ‘outside’ edge softness of the Wipe Border to be controlled
If the Soft Balance is set to ‘0.0’ then both the Inside & Outside edges have the same softness, as set by
the ‘Soft Control’
If the Soft Balance is set to a positive number, then the inside edge is made softer
If the Soft Balance is set to a negative number, then the outside edge is made softer

if ‘soft’ is 10%, and ‘soft balance’ is 10%, then using, say, a circle wipe, the Inside softness is 20%,
and the outside softness is 10%.
Wipe Border Menu
The Wipe Border Menu allows control of the Wipe Border Matte
The Colour Wheel allow selection of the Wipe Border Matte Hue & Saturation

the cursor shows the currently selected colour

a new colour can be selected by touching the appropriate colour

the vertical bar on the right hand side allow the Luma (Brightness) of the Matte to be controlled
Hue, Sat, Luma Controls
The Hue, Saturation and Luma values can also be set using the Rotary Controls, or the numeric Keypad,
or the Joystick
Source Control
This control set the Wipe Border Matte mode
Currently this offers two modes:
‘0’ – Single colour Border
‘1’ – Dual Colour Border
Dual Colour mode allows Dual Colour Shaded borders to be generated
It will also be possible to use a Video Source as a Border Source (not in the current software though)

Wipe Shade Menu
The Wipe Shade Menu allows control of the Wipe Shaded Border Mode
In order to enable the Dual Colour Shaded Border, you must first select it in the ‘Wipe Border Menu’ – see above
With the Dual Colour Shaded Border Mode enabled, two border colours will now be visible in the Wipe Border
Matte

The first matte colour is set by the Wipe Border Matte

The second matte colour is set by the Matte Control in this menu
Hue, Sat, Luma Controls
The Hue, Saturation and Luma values can also be set using the Rotary Controls, or the numeric Keypad,
