Range Command (TLF x)
The sonar range is set with the Range command
TLF x
, where x represents
the range. The available selections for x are 1 through 20 in one digit
increments, where 1 is 25 meters and every incremental digit adds
25 meters of range for a maximum of 500 meters. A single space character
precedes x. The sonar repetition rate and the Chirp pulse length is
determined automatically based on the selected range.
Receiver Gain Command (G x y)
The receiver gain of either the port sidescan or the starboard sidescan is set
with the Receiver Gain command
G x y
, where x represents the port or
starboard sidescan, and y the gain in dB. A single space character precedes
x, and another precedes y. The available selections for x are 0 for port
sidescan and 1 for starboard sidescan, and for y the selections are 0 through
21 in increments of 3.
Power ON/OFF Command (Pxy)
The on/off control of the port and starboard sidescan transmitters is provided
by the Power ON/OFF command
Pxy
, where x represents the port or
starboard sidescan, and y the on or off status. There are no space characters.
The available selections for x are 0 for port sidescan and 1 for starboard
sidescan, and for y it is 0 for off and 1 for on.
Chirp Pattern Diagnostics Enable/Disable Command (D x)
The enable/disable control of the Chirp Pattern Diagnostics is provided by the
Chirp Pattern Diagnostics Enable/Disable command
D x
, where x is 254 for
disable and 255 for enable. A single space character precedes x.
Trigger Mode Command (TRIGx)
The internal or external trigger is set with the Trigger Mode command
TRIGx
, where x is either 0 for internal trigger or 1 for external trigger.
NOTE All commands consist of ASCII characters, and each command must
be followed by a carriage return <CR> and a line feed <LF> character.
