Insert a known good battery. Test the energizer’s output voltage and output energy . Measure the ene rgizer’s
pulse interval, see page 9. If the energizer passes these performance tests, advise the customer that their own
battery is likely to be faulty.
If any mechanical damage is apparent, repair or replace parts as required. See the parts list on page 1. To replace
the handle, see page 10. To replace the switch knob, see page 11.
Test the energ izer’s ou tput vol tage and output energy. Measure the energizer’s pulse in terval, see page 9.
All energizers except house brand models HB17 and HB33. If the energizer is faulty, replace the module and
output transformer (supplied in the case lid). See page 14.
House brand models HB17 and HB33 only - If the energizer is faulty and is still within its warranty period, supply
a replacement energizer. See page 14.
