READING PARAMETERS

YSTEM

 

 
This parameter sets the duration the aiming pattern is seen before a scan attempt 
begins. It is programmable in 0.1 second increments from 0.0 to 9.9 seconds. No aim 
pattern is visible when the value is 0.0.  
 
To set the aiming system, scan the barcode below. Next scan the two 

Numeric 

Barcodes

 in Appendix C that correspond to the desired aiming system duration. 

Single digit values must be predefined by a leading zero. For example, to set an 
aiming system duration of 0.5 seconds, scan the barcode below, then scan the “0” 
and “5” barcodes. To change the selection or cancel an incorrect entry, scan the 

CANCEL
