This feature is used to prevent unnecessary trips which may occur in cases where the load is powered up
suddenly after remaining unpowered for a long period of time. Only valid for
“OVERCURRENT
PROTECTION
(ANSI 50/51)”
and
“GROUND OVERCURRENT PROTECTION (ANSI 50N/51N)”
. The
protections are valid for the parameter group defined in this section for a set duration after the system has
been energized.
