Datacolor 20D and Datacolor PAINT
You can connect the Datacolor 20D to a PC to use it with Datacolor PAINT. . The instrument can be
connected wirelessly using a Bluetooth® connection, or through a USB cable connection. When connected
you can match and correct samples stored on the instrument using Datacolor PAINT. You can also use the
instrument as a measuring device for Datacolor PAINT.
PC Access
IMPORTANT
The PC Access feature on the stand-alone unit should be selected whenever the instrument is connected to
the computer.
Use the black navigation button on the instrument to put it into
PC Access Mode
. The screen will display
the current status of the PC connection.
USB Cable Connection
To connect the unit to the computer using the USB cable:

(1)Insert the mini-USB connector into the instrument.

computer
