Ribbon Light
The
ribbon
indicates
the
status
of
the
ribbon
in
the
printer.
Indicators
include
the
following:
Card Light
The
card
light
indicates
the
status
of
cards
in
the
printer.
Indicators
include
the
following:
Off
The
ribbon
is
okay.
If
rewrite
is
enabled,
no
ribbon
is
installed
in
the
printer.
Blinking
amber
A
blinking
light
indicates
the
problem
applies
to
the
ribbon.
Steady
amber
The
ribbon
is
low.
Blinking
amber/
green
The
ribbon
is
out,
or
the
incorrect
ribbon
is
installed.
Off
Cards
are
okay.
Blinking
amber
A
blinking
light
indicates
either
of
the
following:
z
No
card,
or
an
incorrect
card,
is
detected
for
the
job.
Insert
a
card
to
continue
printing.
z
A
scheduled
printer
cleaning
is
due.
Insert
a
cleaning
card
now,
or
set
aside
time
to
run
a
cleaning
card.
