Installing the Printer

Connecting the Data Cable

Connect the data cable when the driver installation instructions tell you to do so.

Connect the USB Cable

Connect the Network Cable

Caution:

Use only one data cable at a time.

Note:

If you plan to use the Datacard Software Plug-in and smart card, use

only a USB cable for the data cable. A network connection for smart card is
not supported by the Datacard Software Plug-in.
