Notes on importing Clipart and Fonts
Although GRAFIT has all the basic features required to create your own graphics images it usually
makes more sense to import your graphics from a public domain Clipart library or some other free
source of images. MS Paintbrush, which is installed in most PCs is also an ideal graphics editor for
GRAFIT.
When creating logos that have a specific type of font, it is most likely easier to import that proper font
file to the Windows/ System/ Fonts folder. Thus, eliminating the time wasted and confusion of trying
to establish a specific logo by free hand. The end user would have to crop text pixel for pixel, trying
to establish the look of the logo. Most of the today’s logos can be found and downloaded off the
Internet.
