3.2.4 Spider resource parameters
This dialog allows you to edit the
Spider resource settings
. The
Hardware type
field presents the device
for connection.

In terms of the Spider system, the PVE 400 device represents a
Spider resource
. Every resource of the
Spider system has a name. The
Resource Name
edit box of the dialog allows specifying the name for
your Spider resource, which will be used for designating this resource in the
SpiderAdmin
program as
well as for identifying the resource by other remote Spider stations.
The rest of the settings can also be changed later using the
SpiderAdmin
program. Changing the rest
of the settings supposes that you are quite familiar with the Spider system operation. If it is not so, we
recommend you to skip making the rest of the settings and click the [Next>] button to proceed to the next
dialog. Otherwise, follow the instructions below.
