DV 150-300: These models are delivered without the
upper cover plate, so the opening of the upper flue gas
outlet is either in the discharge head or a small cover
plate is delivered together with the heater in case of
duct connection. Otherwise the rebuilding is identical
with the procedure for the smaller units.
2.8 Positioning the Safety Sensor
From the factory the position of the safety sensor is
based on an upright, free-blowing version of the unit.
When connecting a duct, or if the unit is to be mounted
as a horizontal version, the safety sensors above the
heat exchanger are to be moved. Table 1 shows the
right position of the sensors for various unit versions.
Upright version
DV 45-120 A = 140 mm
C = D
DV 150-300 A = B
C = D
Horizontal version:
DV 45-120 A = 140 mm
Model left C = As small as possible
Model right D = As small as possible
DV 150-300 A = B
Model left C = As small as possible
